Who can come to the reunion?
Everyone who has attended Camp Kohahna or Camp Leelanau for Girls.
Please note: Some alumnae have asked if they can come to the reunion if they no longer study Christian Science. Absolutely, yes, no question about it! The reunion is for all Kohahna/Leelanau for Girls alums. We all shared similar experiences while at camp, we shared the same activities, cabins, pranks, and more. That’s what this is all about -- reconnecting with the great people we knew and loved years ago. All alumnae are welcome with open arms! In the spirit of camp, the reunion will be alcohol and smoke free.
What are we going to do?
You’ll see by the enclosed schedule that we’re offering the experience of a typical camp day–from flag-raising to late-night fun in the Great House. We’ll have many of the activities* you loved as a camper. You may do as much as you want or as little as you want. Please feel free to come even if you want to sit by the fire in the Great House the whole weekend. There are so many friends who would like to see you!
Will we be staying at camp?
Absolutely! Imagine listening to the trees, the wind, and the waves in the company of long-time friends. You can stay in one of the cabins (basically as you remember them) or heated bunkhouses that are located next to the Great House. Please feel free to round up your friends and let us know who you would like to have for your cabin mates. If no preferences are indicated, you will be placed with other wonderful alumnae, probably from your same decade.
Are other accommodations available?
We understand not everyone may want to “rough it” at camp. If you prefer to stay elsewhere, Glen Arbor has several wonderful hotels and B&Bs, including the Sylvan Inn (231) 334-4333, The Homestead (231) 334-5100, The Foothills (231) 334-3495, and Maple Lane Resort (231) 334-3413.
How much does the reunion cost?
$225 – from dinner on Friday, Sept. 5 through breakfast on Monday, Sept. 8. Accommodations, great meals, activities (except riding) – everything is included.
What can you do to help?
First and foremost, we hope that you will contact all your camp friends and encourage them to come. If you would like to get more involved with the reunion, there is an area on the registration form where you can indicate your desire to help.
Who’s planning this?

Special notes about the schedule
Activities: We are expecting alumnae from all decades with a wide variety of skills, interests, activity level, etc. Being former campers and counselors we know many people love the outdoor activities, even if it's just a walk. We will have activities for every skill level – indoors and out. Also, everyone can get their own games going like bridge, euchre or whatever. We’re also planning team games for all skill levels. And of course there will be plenty of time for you to mingle and create your own fun and conversation!
