Wow I never thought as an eight-year-old first year camper I would be lovingly dedicating the next 14 summers to camp!! This summer I am excited to tromp around in the woods again as one of the trips counselors. I graduate this May from DePauw University in Indiana with a BA in educational studies and a minor in music with a concentration in vocal performance. I can’t wait to have another amazing summer!

This will be my 8th summer at camp, and I am incredibly excited to be the CT counselor. I am really looking forward to working with the CT women and being part of their incredible CT Summer experience. It is always such a pleasure being at Kohahna because of the extraordinary Kohahna women, the uplifted and supportive atmosphere, and of course the beautiful scenery! I am certain this will be another summer full of blessings at Pyramid Point!

I am a senior at Grand Valley State University in Michigan, with a major in Business Management. This will be my fifth summer at Kohahna, and I am looking forward to spending it on the lake as the Waterfront Director for my third time. I have spent time volunteering as a Girl Scout leader while in college, and I love the opportunity to continue as a mentoring figure during the summer when I come to Kohahna. Also, throughout my life I’ve spent summers in Leelanau County, so I have a great love of the area. I can’t wait for the chance to meet everyone and head into another memorable summer!

I am thrilled to be back for my 10th summer at Kohahna! This will be my 2nd summer on staff and I am really looking forward to teaching canoeing again. Next fall I will be a junior at the University of Oklahoma where I am majoring in French. Along with my schoolwork I am a member of the Pride of Oklahoma Marching Band and its service sorority, Tau Beta Sigma.
