Ben Chernivsk paul olsen Ben Chernivsky - Head Counselor
I am a junior at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, majoring in English and taking Global Studies as a minor. 12th year at camp, 6 as a camper including my CT summer, 6 years on staff. This upcoming summer is all about inspiration. While growing up, camp helped mold an original and sturdy, Spiritually-inspired character out of who I am. I simply want to continue that progression for other counselors and campers alike.

Paul Olsen - Assistant Head Counselor
I am entering my second year at culinary school, in route to a Culinary Arts degree. This is my 15th year at camp, four of those as a counselor. Still after fifteen years on Pyramid Point, the love and energy of a Leelanau Summer revitalizes, educates, and inspires me. I am excited to witness Primitive Christianity at work through challenging activities, creative skits, and our supportive brotherhood. So gentleman, come to camp ready to be challenged and to grow because we will have a lot of both this summer.

I am currently a sophomore at Hillsdale College in Michigan majoring in Political Economics. 10 years at camp, 7 as a camper, 1 as staff in the kitchen, 2 as a counselor. As far as my thoughts for this summer, I cannot wait to get back to camp. I've been day-dreaming of dips and activities and singing camp songs on the big blue bus since December, and its only gotten worse since the days have been getting longer and the weather a little warmer; I can practically smell camp in the air. I look forward to seeing the old friends and making some great new ones, and there's no better place for that than at camp.
